The Newfoundland and Labrador Provincial Championship is an annual celebration of STEM in the province. Students from all over the province participating in the FIRST LEGO League and FIRST Tech Challenge programs come together to compete for the title of "provincial champions".

More than a robotics competition

The Provincial Championship is an opportunity for students in Newfoundland and Labrador to meet like minded peers, and discover the broader STEM community in the province. Students engage in hands-on learning under pressure while in a safe environment. Students build their critical skills such as project management, communication, engineering design, collaboration, and more. For many students, this is the first time they see themselves as leaders in science and technology, inspiring them to pursue future careers as leaders and innovators in Newfoundland and Labrador.

Public Viewing Available

The event is free and open for the public to spectate. See the amazing creations of students in the province and watch robots compete head to head. Check out the event schedule below.

Start a Team
