Cross Program
As a judge, you'll play a key role in recognizing and celebrating team achievements by engaging directly with students through interviews and presentations. offering encouragement and constructive feedback along the way.

Referees observe matches and help foster fair gameplay. They identify and ‘call’ rule violations and assist competitors in understanding the rules of the game. This position requires additional training and intimate knowledge of game rules.

Around the Field Event DeliveryFIRST Tech Challenge
Robot Inspectors perform mandatory pre-match inspections and provide teams with guidance to ensure compliance with current season robot rules. They work under the supervision of the Lead Robot Inspector and use official checklists to determine pass/fail status.

Pit Admin is a central point of contact for teams and guests in the Pit Area. In this role you will help teams understand the schedule, ensure teams know where to go, and direct teams to various competition officials to answer questions and get necessary support.

A Practice Field Supervisor plays an important role in helping teams prepare for competition by managing access to the practice field area, ensuring safety, and supporting fair and efficient field use.

The Quiet Room is a place for individuals to step away from the excitement and pressure of a FIRST event to decompress in silence. The Quiet Room Supervisor oversees the Quiet Room and helps to ensure that individuals using the room respect the nature of the space.

Team Registration volunteers help check in teams at the beginning of the event and provide them with information and materials for the day. After the registration period has closed, the “registration desk” turns into the “information desk”.
