The following links are the instructions for youth registration. All participants are required to register through the FIRST dashboard. - Lead coaches only invite youth members that are 18 years old or older and can legally sign their consent form. - For youth members that are 17 years old and under, the lead coaches must send the Express Enrollment invitation/QR code directly to the parents/guardians to complete. All coaches are required to complete the Youth Protection Program background screening. In Canada, this is done by Sterling Background checks. Attached here is a PDF provided by FIRST with information about the background check process.

Event Information

These are the rubrics that our judges use in the judging session. Use these as reference when creating your innovation project and robot design presentation.

At the provincial championship competition, your team will do a judging session where your team will present their Innovation Project and Robot Design presentations. This one page PDF outlines the overview of that session.

Robot Building/Programming Resources

There are many "Starter Builds" on the internet for teams to use to get of the ground in FIRST LEGO League. This website has many build ideas from previous FIRST LEGO League teams. These won't provide you with the "winning" robot, but is a great place to start!

Can you determine how far your robot moves in one rotation of the driving wheels? With that knowledge you can use this wireframe guide to determine how many rotations you need to reach a mission!
